Today I was pleased to join the inaugural meeting of the All Party Parliamentary Group for Flooding and Flooded Communities as a member.
Given the devastating effects of Storm Babet last October, it’s vital that all agencies work together to support flood-affected residents and businesses.
I look forward to playing an active role in this group, ensuring that the residents and businesses in Central Suffolk and North Ipswich have a strong voice and taking forward tangible asks to Government on how we can better support our communities in the event of future flooding.
