Last Friday, I had the pleasure of visiting Debenham High School and meeting with Headteacher Mr Martin to discuss the key issues facing the school. It was inspiring to see the enthusiasm of students, who were outstanding ambassadors for their school. I am particularly excited about the school’s academy plans for local primaries, which will strengthen education across our area. This initiative will provide greater collaboration and continuity for pupils as they progress through their schooling. I wish the school every success in this important next step.
