Last Friday, I met with Mid Suffolk District Council Leader, Andy Mellen, and Chief Executive, Arthur Charvonia for a productive discussion on key local issues. We covered planning challenges around social housing, the state of local housing stock in the context of the National Planning Policy Framework (NPPF), and the ongoing risks of flooding across the constituency. Ensuring Mid Suffolk has the right policies in place to support sustainable development and resilient infrastructure remains a priority.
