I was delighted to see the Government have announced £20 million in funding through it's Pride of Place programme for Whitehouse. The money will be made available over the next 10 years for projects that boost sense of community and inclusivity. I personally hope to see real investment in assets that will last a generation.
This is good news story for everyone. I believe North Ipswich is a hidden gem but too often gets overlooked compared to the Waterfront and Town Centre.
