For flood affected residents and businesses, we can’t forget the devastating scenes from Storm Babet a year ago. The area around Sir Robert Hitcham Primary School, Debenham was particularly severely affected, not to mention neighbouring #Framlingham, #WickhamMarket and surrounding villages. We also saw the best of our communities drawing together to support those in need.
Helping residents affected by flooding and protecting communities from the threat of flooding is one of my top priorities. I continue to work closely with the Environment Agency and Suffolk County Council to ensure that residents in Central #Suffolk and North #Ipswich do not experience devastating flood damage again.
