Recently I had the pleasure of meeting and spending time with residents from Offton and hearing once again their views of the devastating effects on the village and their lives of the proposed National Grid Norwich to Tilbury project.
Following my visit and walk of the proposed pylon route I once again felt compelled to write to the Chief Executive of National Grid, John Pettigrew to ask for a meeting and for serious consideration of high-voltage direct current transmission lines to be considered for the village.
